Web6. nov 2013 · It does seem to work to keep House Sparrows away from the feeder. I have seen one or two House Sparrows at the feeder, but it is very uncommon to see them at the feeder now. Before, they were always present - 2-3 at at time and would spend (it seemed) hours at a time just hanging out at the feeder. This really does seem to work.
