It boasts the second widest high street in Britain, after Stockton-on-Tees . The town is on the River Kennet . The Showmen’s Guild of Great Britain will be back in town on Saturday and the following weekend. Roads will be closed from noon on Friday and motorists are warned their cars could be towed away.
